Volunteer Now for 2016 European Curling Championships

Posted on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 6:20pm

The Le Gruyère European Curling Championships are coming to Scotland in 2016, and we are now recruiting for volunteers to help us deliver an event to remember!

Both the curling rink and the ice arena at intu Braehead will be used for the duration of the championships, and with Olympians and World medallists taking part, these Championships are a fantastic opportunity to get up close to the action.

We know that volunteers will be the backbone of the Championships, helping to ensure that everyone coming to the event – teams, officials, spectators, guests, media and fellow volunteers – all have a great and memorable experience.

Volunteer positions will be available in many areas across the event; officials, timing and stats, ceremonies, legacy activities, facilities, marshalling and spectator services, transport and accommodation, accreditation, team services, media operations and helping with other volunteers.

Some roles require specific experience and training, others just need enthusiasm! If you are a friendly, enthusiastic person who likes to meet new people, work as part of a team and make a real difference then we want to hear from you.
