Preview: Maxwell and Morton Trophies

The Maxwell Trophy takes place at Murrayfield Curling on 12 March starting at 10:00am. This competition is played for annually between curlers of Scottish ice rinks. Four rinks have qualified for the final stages of the competition which is played on a knock out basis.

On the same day at Kirkcaldy Ice Rink The Morton Trophy will be competed for between Scotland’s lady curlers. The object of the game is to encourage lady curlers to improve their game and to participate in team events. Lanarkshire, Kinross, Ayr and Inverness will be represented by three teams each in the finals.
