The Scottish Junior Curling Club Challenge Division 1 & 2 will be taking place at Murrayfield Curling, Edinburgh from Saturday 9th to Sunday 10th January. The competition is open to junior curling clubs and consists of three Divisions, clubs are promoted and relegated between Divisions depending on performance.

Each club entry is represented by two teams who must field a minimum of two females (one of whom must throw third or fourth stones) and the club entry receives a combined score from the results of both their teams. The winner of Division 1 will receive £600 prize money.

Last year Dumfries won Division 1 for the first time in their clubs 20 year history – they are returning this year to try and retain the Scottish Junior Challenge title. Kinross will also be playing in Division 1 this year after being promoted from Division 2, which they topped last year.
