The Baljaffray Trophy, the third Asham Under 17 Slam of the season, took place at Greenacres Curling Rink from Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th November.

Team Kinnear (pictured right) continued their winning streak, having now claimed all three Asham Under 21 Slam event titles so far. The semi finals were contested by Farmer, Davie, Kinnear and Gallacher – with Kinnear and Farmer making it to the final, leaving Gallacher and Davie to play the 3/4 game. Although Kinnear took a 3 in the first end of the final, Farmer answered with a 2 in the second. There wasn’t much between the teams going into the seventh end, with the score 5-4 to Kinnear, however a three in the seventh sealed the win for them.

Hair started with a steal of one but after that the score went with the hammer – finishing at 6-5 to Team Craik (pictured left), who have retained their second place spot on the leader board. Meanwhile, a very tight low road 3/4 game between Carter and Blair resulted in a 7-6 win for Carter.
