Forfar Curl Fest 3rd – 5th November – Forfar, Goldline Scottish Curling Tour Event

The Goldline Scottish Curling Tour heads to Forfar this weekend for the third event on the tour, Forfar Curl Fest.  Play starts on Friday the 3rd of November and 2 sections of 6 will fight it out across the weekend with the finals taking place on Sunday. Forfar Indoor Sports is looking forward to welcoming rinks from around Scotland, England & beyond to fight for the title. Braehead Junior International 3rd – 5th November – intu Braehead, European Junior Curling Tour Event

The Braehead Junior International will be played this weekend at Intu Braehead with 32 teams taking part. The Junior International is the 3rd leg of 6 events forming the European Junior Champions Tour. The competition has 18 boys and 14 girls teams taking part, representing 9 nations. Sophie Jackson with the same team will be looking to retain the title they won in 2016.Callum Kinnear and his young team will look to continue their good form after winning the Oslo leg of the tour last month. RCCC Skill Awards Challenge 4th November – Dewars Centre, Perth

Junior clubs will battle it out in the RCCC Skill Awards Challenge on Saturday. Each team is made up of 4 curlers worth 10 points with each skill award worth a different amount of points. In what is sure to be an exciting and fun day, play will begin with 4 end games in sections before the playoff stages in the afternoon.

RCCC Level 1 Coaching Course 4th November, Moray

Moray Leisure Centre, is the venue for the fourth RCCC Level 1 curling coaching course.  It will be held this Saturday 4th November and is completely full, which is fantastic.  Curlers are coming from Inverness, Elgin and Aberdeen and will be treated to a day full of expert tutoring, top coaching tips, fun and informed group interaction and on ice training.
