The Royal Caledonian Curling Club

National Governing Body for Curling in Scotland

Development is a key role of The Royal Caledonian Curling Club and support is available to all member clubs and curlers.

The Club & Member Development Committee is responsible for the delivery of all development aspects of the RCCC Operational Plan; this incorporates programmes targeted towards juniors, adults, universities, 50+, disability and clubs.

In partnership with local funders, the RCCC currently has 9 Curling Development Officers covering 11 curling rinks across Scotland. Please contact your local Development Officer for more information on curling in your local rink. Contact details can be found in Curling Development Officers

In the Junior section, you will find details of all junior clubs, Skills Awards, the annual summer camp and competitions for entry level juniors.

In the Adult section, you will find details of classes and courses designed to help you improve your game!

The Club section provides information on available grants to help affiliated clubs to increase membership numbers and / or improve current structure. Reports and templates of successful club projects will be available to view soon.

In 2016 we have developed a Legacy Framework that can be seen here. It explains our purpose and provides context on why sports development is important and how lasting benefits can be achieved for all of the stakeholders.
