Curling this Weekend: Grand Slam of Curling 5th-10th September, 2017.

30 men’s and 30 women’s rinks are taking part in the Grand Slam’s first event of the season, held in Regina, in Canada, this week. Four teams from Scotland have traveled to the Saskatchewan capital; including Team Smith, who’ll represent Great Britain at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang next year. The side have lost three games out of three so far.

Team Muirhead, also representing Great Britain, have won one game, out of a possible three.

In the men’s 2nd tier, the team skipped by Greg Drummond have played three, won one and lost two.

Team Fleming, competing in the women’s 2nd tier, have played four; winning two and losing two.
