Curling This Weekend: From 22nd November

The European Junior Curling Tour continues this Friday, 22nd November in Thun, Switzerland. The competition which runs until Sunday 24th November will have 12 boys and 12 girls teams competing, three of which will be Scottish teams. Representing the girls will be Team Aitken (pictured following their Bronze medal performance at the EJCT Oslo last month) and Team Martin, while Team Mouat will be representing the boys.

SCT-logoThe Lockerbie Superspiel is next leg of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour and starts on Friday 22nd November. There will be ten teams taking part in an initial round robin stage. A section league table will be decided by points, ends won and then shots.
The top eight teams will progress to the quarter-finals. The finals will take place on Sunday 24th at 15:30pm. For more visit the Scottish Curling Tour website.

downloadThe Edinburgh International Seniors event gets underway at Murrayfield Curling from Friday 22nd November and runs until Sunday 24th. Some great curling is expected throughout the weekend with a team coming from the USA and many others from the home nations.

European MuirheadThe 2013 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships get underway on Saturday 23 November in Stavanger’s Sormarka Arena, with Scotland represented by skips Eve Muirhead (right) and David Murdoch and their British Olympic teams.
