The Scottish Curling Junior Men’s Championship Qualifiers take place this weekend at Dewars Centre, Perth from 4th – 6th December, where 12 teams will be competing to secure a place at the 2016 Championships in Aberdeen.

There are eight qualifying places available and among the field are last year’s Scottish Junior Champions, and World Junior bronze medallists, Team Mouat (pictured) who return with a different line up due to two of last season’s players aging out of juniors. Other RCCC Academy rinks competing include Team Bryce, Team Whyte and Team Brydone while Cameron McNay will also be hoping to qualify for the second year in a row.

The Scottish Curling Junior Championships will take place at Curl Aberdeen from 26-31 January 2016 where the junior Men’s and Women’s Champions will earn the right to represent Scotland at the World Junior Championships in March.
