Curling, climbing and caving – our Summer Camps begin!

Thirty junior curlers are getting some curling practice and coaching at the first of this year’s annual junior summer camps.

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club camps cater for juniors aged 13 – 17 and have proven to be popular with both camps at capacity again this year.

Marion Murdoch, Brad Askew, Judith McFarlane, Jill Donald and Ian Fraser will be delivering the on-ice sessions this week covering a range of topics. In addition to the curling sessions, afternoon team building activities include mountain biking, climbing, water sports and caving.

The RCCC camps provide a great avenue for curlers to develop their skills, make new friends and share a fantastic experience together.

It is a delight to see that four of this year’s Scottish Junior Champions are previous junior summer campers and we hope that some of this year’s campers will achieve their curling ambitions in future years too.
