Coaches Gathering 2014

The Royal Caledonian Curling Club, Coaching Committee would like to invite you to the fourth annual Coaches Gathering, to be held in the Gannochy Suite at Dewars Centre, Perth on Saturday, 15th Feb 2014 between the semi-finals of the Scottish Championships, between 5pm – 7pm .

The Gathering provides an opportunity for all coaches to informally meet and socialise.

  • This event is free of charge for all curling coaches and on arrival, you will receive your ticket into a free prize draw.
  • With the launch of the new Skill Awards, there will be some resources (the practical assessment sheets) available to pick up and take home with opportunity to ask questions.
  • Try on and order a new RCCC Coaches jacket. Gilmour Sports the new supplier will have a range of sizes available for coaches to try before they buy!
  • A presentation on the proposed structure for the Performance Programme for 2014/2015 will be delivered by Brad Askew, RCCC Assistant Performance Coach.
  • Coinciding with the Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish Curling Championships (Women and Mens’) semi finals, there will be the opportunity to see the best teams in Scotland competing mix with coaches from all areas, from all levels to discuss matters of mutual interest and share ideas.

Why not contact a few colleagues and arrange to travel together or meet up at the gathering? All coaches have been invited by email, however we are aware that not all coaches are online, so please feel free to pass the invite along to other coaches.

We hope that as many coaches as possible will be able to attend and support this event.
