Asham Under 21 Slam Lockerbie

The penultimate Asham Under 21 Slam of the season takes place at Lockerbie Ice Rink this weekend from 20th to 22nd December. There are 24 teams taking part in the competition, 16 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams. Points will be awarded to the top eight male teams and top four female teams. Team Bruce Mouat have currently won the men’s section of both the previous Asham Under 21 Slams at Kinross and Inverness and will be looking to continue their winning ways in order to claim the overall Slam title and the £1000 prize which will be awarded to the overall male and female team winners. Winners of the last Asham Under 21 Slam at Inverness Team Katie Murray currently lead in the women’s section of the competition with 26 points, but is closely followed by Team Gina Aitken on 24 points. The last of the Asham Under 21 Slams will be taking place at Greenacres from 10th to 12th January 2014.
