Asham Under 17 Slam – Forfar

The fourth Asham Under 17 Slam takes place at Forfar Indoor Sports this weekend from 28th to 29th December. There are 24 teams taking part in the competition which will be played in a round robin format over six sections of four teams. The Asham Under 17 Slam comprises five events at Lockerbie, Greenacres, Lanarkshire, Forfar and Perth with points awarded at each. The top three or four results (depending on number of team entries) are accumulated to determine the overall winner and winning girls team.
Team Ross Whyte are currently leading the boys competition with 54 points followed by Team Luke Carsonon 49 points. As for the girls Team Katie Murray is currently topping the group for the girls.
The final Asham Under 17 Slam will be taking place at Dewars Centre, Perth from 1st to 2nd March.
