Dunvegan Trophy
|
Ardclach’s Ally Fraser (Skip) and Grant Fraser (Lead) teamed up with Dalcross member Blair Fraser (Second) and Kirkcaldy based Colin Howden (Third) to win the Dunvegan Men’s Under 21 competition at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Ice rink on the 21st of October, beating Robert MacWilliam’s south based rink 8-4 in the final. A good start to the season for some of our Province juniors ahead of the Inverness Junior International competition this weekend.

First up is success for two Province curlers, Neil Macarthur and Mark Fraser, in the final of the Inverness Skins. Other teams playing with a Province interest included Alan Campbell, Alister Asher, Alan Durno, Graeme Govan and Andrew Craigie. All went home with some money but,apart from Andrew's rink,missed out on the Sunday prize money. Click on Inverness Skins for Robin Wilson's full report.
