The Nairn Curling Club Centenary Bonspiel was held at Inverness Ice rink on Saturday December 8th - almost exactly 100 years after the club was constituted.

Nine Nairn teams plus one team from Nairn Ladies competed against ten invited teams - including Aberlemno (Angus), Gourock, and Lochard, as well as some near neighbours

Everyone played two games with an interval for a Pie and Soup lunch provided by Ashers.  The Winner was the team which won both its games with the highest total of shots up.  There were other consolation prizes, plus each team could show their combined curling skill in a Draw Shot Challenge.

The organising sub-committee did a great job, and if the amount of 'lost property' left behind is an indicator, most people seemed to have enjoyed themselves greatly !
