Inverness Curling Club
|
Inverness Curling Club is one of the clubs attached to Inverness Ice Centre in the Highlands in Scotland and has been established since 1968. It is a mixed club with players of all abilities ranging from beginners to very experienced curlers. There are plenty of opportunities to play in internal club games and in the Inverness Province Leagues, which are played between all the clubs at the Inverness Ice Centre. Most of the games are played at 7.30pm or 9.35pm during the week, but there are also a number of Saturday Bonspiels. With a membership of approximately 30, the club is friendly and sociable. The club hosts a very popular annual Bonspiel at Inverness Ice Centre at the end of January each year, to which members from Inverness Province and neighbouring areas are invited, to compete for the Ian Cairns Trophy. This is always an excellent opportunity to meet with members from other clubs in a competitive but friendly spirit. If you would like any further information about our club please contact us at info@curlinverness.co.uk
