Prizes were presented after the closing bonspiel by a former president Derek McCulloch.
There was a bit of controversy about the results of the Roxburgh Cup, Town vs Country as a 6 was put up on the scoreboard only thirty minutes before the end of the game, as opposed to after 30 minutes lateness. Was it a valid claim and it was in the game between the two team captains, Jim Taylor and Alistair Wood. Jim did admit at the start of the game that he hadn't contacted one of his players who duly didn't turn up. As this is a full Club competition the rules had to be applied but was the lateness of the claim for the 6 a ploy. Who will ever know!
Well done to the Match Secretary Ross McCleary on holding the prize giving and recalling so many little anecdotes about the games.
