Cambusnethan Jug :- Our major season long league competition in which each rink plays twice against the other teams.
Walker Trophy :- A competion with a difference! The Skip plays at lead and all the other players move up one place. This gives the players experience playing up the rink and reminds skips what sweeping is. This trophy was presented in memory of one of our original 1970 members, Harold Walker, by his family.
Pairs Trophy :- Played in the New year, with two leagues leading to a semi-final, then final at the end of the season.
Jack Burt Points Trophy :- Usually the last competition of the year, the ultimate test of curling skills, played over 2 sheets and 2 sessions, with a maximum score of 72 points. Get into the 30's and you're doing well!
Singles Competition :- Played as a one day tournament on a Sunday in November, not only a great days curling but also a social occasion. Mini leagues leading to a final. Sounds easy! One against one, 4 stones each, no sweeping and only 5 ends per game. Get to the final and you should have delivered 100+ stones !
